Our rentals in the Cevennes are made for your family vacations. Our village of cottages in Saint Jean du Gard is in the middle of nature on the edge of the National Park. The Cevennes extend over four departments with diverse landscapes. The village of Gîte de ravel is located in Saint Jean du Gard, in the south of the Cévennes valleys. The Gardons, the local rivers, carve the rocks of schist and granite, to offer us majestic bathing spots. The Gardon de Mialet is only one kilometer away, the Gardon de Saint Jean, just as beautiful, is also very close with its small canyons. There are many hiking trails around your vacation rental to discover with your family or accompanied by this beautiful nature so vast and dense.

Your hosts

We are Marjolaine and Cedric born here in the Cevennes, and having lived and grown up in Saint Jean du Gard, we are impregnated with the local and Cevenol cultural heritage. During your vacations in our village of gites we contribute to create a family spirit, warm and friendly. During the high season, we guide you on hikes, make you discover the authentic and natural Cevennes products. We are close to nature and we strive to reduce our impact. Discover at the Ravel bar our apple juice production and other local specialties. We define ourselves as artisans of tourism.

Our nature estate

Far from the hustle and bustle, your rental is in the middle of nature under the pine and chestnut trees. Our domain extends over three hectares in the heart of the southern Cevennes in Saint Jean du Gard. You will enjoy many facilities in the village of cottages, the indoor swimming pool is heated in low season, playgrounds for children, sports fields, ping-pong tables, table soccer ... We also organize on site activities for the whole family as archery and other friendly tournaments. The common barbecue that we organize in high season allows young and old to share warm moments during your vacations and to get to know each other.

Our accommodations

Our lodgings are identical, they all have two rooms, the layout may be slightly different from one to another. The decoration is the same. We offer three options for your vacation rental, two-bedroom, air-conditioned and jacuzzi.

Choose the one that suits you best to enjoy your vacation. Your gite is of course fully equipped, including the kitchen. At only two kilometers from Saint Jean du Gard there is a big market on Tuesday mornings which allows you to prepare, cook and taste in your accommodation, the products of the Cevennes such as the pelardon, the chestnuts
