The history of our gîte village : Domaine de la Brette is a place steeped in history. A former agricultural estate built between the 18th and 19th centuries, it has undergone numerous extensions and transformations. In the 90s, it was completely restructured to create tourist accommodation.

We love hiking, but it’s not always easy to combine it with a professional activity. The Gers is a department that deserves to be discovered through this discipline. There are many PR trails (on foot or by bike) through the valleys, hills and slopes of this natural territory. If you didn’t know, the Gers is crossed by the GR route to Santiago de Compostela.
During our research period, we met the Villages de Gîtes label team at a tourism fair in Lille. We knew straight away that we would join the label as soon as our project became a reality, because it’s a label that provides us with resources and visibility, but also: a label with strong human values!
We love the “Domaine du Château de Termes”, in neighbouring Lot: the views over the valley are magnificent!
The estate is very often taken over by groups of 40 to 55 people, and we always say that it’s very difficult to keep a group loyal: you don’t have a big birthday party every year! And yet groups come back for a cousinly get-together, to celebrate Christmas or New Year! Some even come to celebrate their birthday on the advice of former customers. That’s the best kind of recognition! We’d like to thank them all!
