The history of our gîte village:It was while paragliding that Julien met the owner of Le Moulinet, who one day mentioned his desire to sell the site. With a view to converting the site, we helped them get their project off the ground and finally acquired the Domaine du Moulinet in 2021.

We share a passion for nature and cooking. Pauline also loves sewing and reading, while Julien enjoys organic gardening and paragliding!
Our predecessor was already interested in the “Villages de Gîtes” network, and had brochures available, but had not yet joined. As we drew up our takeover plan, and with a view to developing a truly professional and sustainable business, we were convinced of the benefits of joining this unique network, whose values we share: a preference for high-quality, sustainable tourism, mutual assistance and goodwill between owners of gîte hamlets, and the technical and commercial support of the association. The networking of these small holiday residences, through the website and above all the catalogue published by the association, is a precious asset for informing and advising holidaymakers on their next holiday destinations! Indeed, Villages de Gîtes is a recognised brand, a guarantee of quality appreciated by many couples, families and groups.
Contrary to popular belief, you don’t get to take many holidays when you’re a host yourself! And we weren’t able to discover all the establishments in the network. But we draw our inspiration from them, particularly from the Villages de Gîtes in the Gard and Ardèche.
We’ve seen how important a role donkeys play with people, and in particular with children, who are very attached to them. We really appreciate our role, hospitality is in line with our values and we meet some wonderful people who come to stay at the Domaine. To quote an anecdote, we’d like to mention the stay of a group of mentally handicapped people: Watching Julien chopping wood, one of them overcame his shyness to take part in the chore and ended up spending two days doing it: a great moment for both of them!
