La vie en rose!

Sébastien and Virginie BOURDAIS welcome you to their Village de Gîtes “STEREDEN” for an unforgettable holiday in Brittany, on the Pink Granite Coast. This small region, on the north coast of Brittany, is a nugget for its exceptionally beautiful scenery, as well as for the wealth of leisure activities on offer. The name of the establishment, “Stérédèn”, is a Breton word meaning “star”: a reference to the town’s coat of arms (a star over the sea) and to the technological and scientific past of the Lannion region, since the famous‘Radôme‘ provided the 1st television link between Europe and the USA in 1962.

The history of my village

Love at first sight for Stereden! We’re a family of 4: Sébastien, Virginie and our 2 children. We’re originally from Brittany and have always wanted to stay there! For us, the gîtes were a challenge: we wanted to get together and work together as a couple. We decided to change careers to combine work and family, and because we love entertaining people and offering them unforgettable holidays!

Our passions

Our passions are flowers, nature, creativity, vintage cars and animals. We are both very ‘challengers’, we love contact and we try to pass this on through our gîte village. It has to be said that Stereden is really well situated in the heart of the Pink Granite Coast, which has only 4 communes: Perros-Guirec, with the famous site of Ploumanac’h, Trestraou beach, and the Sept-Îles nature reserve, which you can visit by boat to admire the geology, the flora and above all the fauna, with the famous puffins, the emblematic birds that can only be seen here (in France)! Pleumeur-Bodou, with Île-Grande, the Landrellec peninsula, and a huge range of leisure activities: accrobranche park, water sports centre, 18-hole golf course, equestrian centre, LPO ornithological station, and above all the Parc du Radôme including : The Cité des télécoms, the Planétarium de Bretagne and the Village Gaulois, all just a stone’s throw from Stereden. Trégastel and Trébeurden, with beautiful coastal walks and magnificent beaches all along the coast.

My Villages de Gîtes membership

We share the values of the association, because it’s a network that promotes small, independent, family-run structures, and cultivates simplicity and family spirit. We believe that customers should feel ‘at home’, and when they come to us they need to feel that family spirit. Here, they feel at home!

My favourite Villages de Gîtes

It’s hard to choose, they’re all so beautiful! But we have a lot in common with the gîte village ‘Le Pré Marin’, which like us is located near the sea, and whose chalets and atmosphere are almost identical. Le Pré Marin is located in Normandy, on a magnificent coastline, the Côte d’Albâtre: another nugget worth discovering!

Holiday anecdotes

Some holidaymakers didn’t even know what “roupettes à queue” were: it was essential for us not to let them taste it! They’ll remember…

Conviviality and authenticity
