The history of our gîte village: In June 2020, after months of searching, we found this little corner of paradise in Aveyron, close to the Lot. This semi-abandoned site was in need of a good clean-up and a good restoration of the green spaces. Armed with all our energy and motivation, with the help of our children, families and friends, we were able to open in July 2020, and the adventure had begun! Since then, we’ve had no regrets about embarking on this wonderful venture, which has been such a rich source of learning and encounters that we enjoy every day.
A warm family welcome
Passionate hosts!
Asnature lovers, we regularly go hiking on the marked (or unmarked 😊) paths in Aveyron and Lot, on foot or on Edouard’s mountain bike. We’ll be delighted to help you choose your walks and visits in the area, which are rich in diversity and beauty. Above all, we want you to have a wonderful holiday with your family or in a group, which is why we offer convivial moments over a wood-fired pizza, or a giant barbecue where children (and adults) can end the evening over grilled marshmallows! On site, you can try your hand at climbing and go on an adventure with our treasure hunt and escape bag.

Joining Villages de Gîtes was a no-brainer for us, because we had discovered the values and family spirit of every guest we met on our holidays. These values correspond exactly to our state of mind. The association helped us set up our business, and gave us sound advice. We’re proud to be part of this wonderful family of passionate hosts.
Le domaine des Bridoux, le Hameau du Sentier des Sources for having stayed there as holidaymakers. La Truffière, au Creux de Arbres, la Ferme du Duzou and many others for having visited them.
“Like a member of the family” Over the course of one summer, a group of families, some of whom lived abroad, met up again at the Grange du Héron after many years without seeing each other. When they arrived, some of them mistook us for members of their family and embraced us! By the end of their stay, we were still part of the family 😊
