The history of our gîte village: When we discovered this place 9 years ago, it wasn’t yet a Village de Gîtes. We fell in love with it. It’s ideally situated in a tourist area, with a breathtaking view over the Dordogne valley. The setting is both simple and grandiose: surrounded by forests, but facing due west, it benefits from plenty of natural light. We wanted to make it a place of relaxation and well-being, with a spa, sauna, two swimming pools and a paddling pool, so that everyone can take care of themselves and their families.

We’ve always been passionate about nature, which is omnipresent here. But above all, we love families and we want to offer them the chance to share their holiday experiences. This self-catering village is our way of offering others what we like to experience ourselves: precious moments in the heart of nature, in a soothing setting.
We totally identify with the values of the association. We like the idea of being small in size, but big in the services we offer. Being friendly, local and responsive are essential to us, and we’re always keen to preserve them.
Due to lack of time, we have not yet had the opportunity to visit other Villages de Gîtes. But our real favourite is the association itself and all that it represents in terms of solidarity and sharing.
Every year, we love to see the children’s delight when they discover the pools for the first time. Their sparkling eyes, their excitement, their smiles… It’s a simple little moment, but it reminds us why we’ve chosen this life and why we love welcoming families into our home so much!
